In this seminar, participants develop high-level English communication skills by participating in a roundtable discussion with a global leader. This seminar is particularly targeted at those who engage in international exchange at international organizations, NPO/NGOs and the like. The skills learned, hence, will be moderating, introductions, discussions, and more.

[Targets]

This seminar is particularly targeted at those who engage in international exchange at foundations, international organizations, and the like.

This seminar is designed for people who would like to:
-gain confidence in English discussion
-improve their English leadership skills (moderating, introducing others, asking questions)
-to gain confidence in using formal English, such as in meetings, presentations and negotiations, beyond everyday conversation
-have a chance to use higher level English skills
-gain experience taking a leadership role using English
-practice public-speaking skills in English
-practice high-level social skills in English (introducing someone, giving a toast, etc.)

[Requirements for participants]

Comfortable using English for everyday conversation

This seminar is designed for participants who have a level of English ability equivalent to or greater than TOEIC 800, TOEFL 580 (CBT 250), EIKEN (STEP test) Grade Pre-1. These scores are for reference only and are not a requirement for participation.

[Seminar fees]

Non-members: 40,000 yen
IHJ members, Students: 35,000 yen
(A fee of 2,000 yen for teaching materials will also be collected.)
*The DVD recorded on the occasion of the roundtable discussion will be edited and handed to each participant later.
