Notice on International Postal Shipments

Since January 1, 2021, the online transmission of Electronic Advance Data has become obligatory in the Universal Postal Union for all international postal shipments to improve security and customs clearance efficiency. The EAD must be transmitted from the sender’s own account. Information regarding online procedures is available at the reception desk, but the staff cannot perform such services on the sender’s behalf. Inquiries should be made directly to the nearest post office.
