Parking Procedure & Rates
The new parking management system using a “flap-lock” device to eliminate unauthorized parking has started from 10:00 am, March 9, 2020.
Since parking spaces are limited, please use public transportation whenever possible. Also, in consideration to other visitors, please refrain from occupying a parking space for an extended period of time.
How to Use the Parking Lot
Parking
1) Drive over the flap lock and park your car in a vacant space.
Remember the number of your parking space.
2) Enter the parking space number at the payment machine placed to the side of the main entrance and receive your Parking Ticket.
3) The flap lock will rise automatically 15 minutes after parking.
Use of Facilities (Receive your Parking Coupon=QR Code Receipt)
[Individuals Members and Representative Members of Corporate Members]
Show your Membership Card and Parking Ticket at the Front Desk or the facility you use and receive your Parking Coupon for 3 hours (max. 2,000 yen/day).
[Library Members and others]
Complimentary parking (time limited) will be applied when using the I-House restaurant, tea lounge, seminar rooms/lecture hall, Koyata Hall and banquet rooms. Show your Parking Ticket at the facility you have used and receive your Parking Coupon.
[Hotel Guests]
Show your Parking Ticket at the Front Desk before you exit the parking lot and receive your Parking Coupon (The parking fee will be charged at the time of check-out.)
– Parking Coupons are for users of our facilities and can only be issued from 5:00 am to 23:00 pm. (House guests excluded.)
Exit
1) Enter the parking space number at the payment machine placed to the side of the main entrance and scan the QR Code Receipt on your Parking Coupon to receive your discount.
2) Make the payment using either a credit card, e-money, or cash.
3) Make sure that the flap lock has lowered and exit your parking space within 10 minutes.
