In a three-year project from 2002 through 2004 co-sponsored by the Japan Foundation and the National Diet Library, in cooperation with the International House of Japan and the National Institute of Informatics, overseas Japanese Studies information specialists were invited to Japan, and given three weeks training.
In addition, the I-House Library has edited records of the workshops and symposiums held in connection with the Japanese Studies Librarian Training (fiscal year 1999 to 2001), and the Japanese Studies Information Specialist Training (fiscal year 2002 to 2003).
These are published by the Japan Foundation, and sold by the Japan Library Association. For purchase, please contact the Japan Library Association.
